What are cookies?
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, the types of cookies we use (i.e., the information we collect using cookies and how that information is used), and how to manage your cookie settings.

How do we use cookies?
Like most online services, our website uses both first-party and third-party cookies for various purposes. First-party cookies can support required website functions or optional measurement. Optional analytics and advertising cookies follow your cookie preferences.
The third-party cookies used on our website primarily help us understand how the website performs, track how you interact with it, keep our services secure, deliver relevant advertisements, and enhance your overall user experience while improving the speed of your future interactions with our website.
Types of cookies we use
The following describes storage used by the main HappyFox website. Other HappyFox services may provide their own cookie notices. Cookie preferences contains the current provider cookie details and lets you choose optional categories.
Necessary
Necessary storage supports consent choices and form security. Demo submission, rescheduling and cancellation do not require Analytics or Advertisement consent.

Functional
Functional consent enables optional embedded YouTube playback. See Embedded YouTube videos below for the storage, provider processing and playback controls.
Analytics
With Analytics consent, website measurement can use the storage below. HF journey cookies are limited to the current hostname and do not contain URL query strings or fragments. Campaign fields are recorded separately. Declining or withdrawing Analytics prevents their use and removes the HF journey cookies.

Google Consent Mode can send restricted cookieless measurement requests when Analytics is declined. Declining Analytics does not mean that no requests are sent to Google.
Advertisement
Website advertising technologies are controlled by the Advertisement choice in Cookie preferences. Choosing to load the optional YouTube player does not grant this category. YouTube's own playback processing is explained separately below.
Embedded YouTube videos
Our optional YouTube player uses privacy-enhanced mode at youtube-nocookie.com. We show a locally hosted poster or a playback placeholder first; the YouTube player is not loaded until you choose to play.
Selecting Allow YouTube & play enables Functional consent for embedded videos through CookieYes and starts the selected video. If Functional is already enabled, selecting Play video starts playback. This does not enable our website's Analytics or Advertisement categories or change your other saved choices.
Once loaded, the player connects to YouTube and Google, which receive network and device information such as your IP address and browser details, and playback data used to deliver and measure the video. YouTube may show non-personalised ads. Privacy-enhanced mode limits personalisation; it does not mean that no data is collected. See Google's Privacy Policy and YouTube's privacy-enhanced embedding information.
The player may use localStorage and IndexedDB on www.youtube-nocookie.com for captions, playback performance and browser-storage support. These are browser storage technologies, not HTTP cookies. Provider-managed storage can persist after playback and can vary by browser and player version. The observed player storage includes:

You can withdraw Functional consent in Cookie preferences to unload active embedded players. This stops the embed but does not erase storage on YouTube's domain; manage that storage in your browser. You can instead use Watch on YouTube without enabling Functional on this website; YouTube's own settings and policies apply after you follow that link.
Campaign attribution and CRM records
With your Analytics consent, we record available landing pages, referring pages, and campaign source, medium and name values from the current page. Page and referrer URLs exclude query strings and fragments; campaign values are recorded separately.
If you submit a demo request while Analytics is enabled, these values are sent with the contact and booking details you provide to our customer relationship management (CRM) and workflow systems, where they are linked to your enquiry record. We use this information to measure which website visits and campaigns lead to demo enquiries.
You can submit a demo request, reschedule or cancel without accepting Analytics cookies. Withdrawing Analytics consent clears the HF attribution cookies on this website and prevents these values from being included in future form submissions. Changing cookie preferences does not itself delete information already submitted with an enquiry.
