Asset Management refers to all the processes and tools (both digital and physical) that an organization uses to manage all of its assets. For more on Assets read here. Asset Management in the helpdesk context is a feature that allows the user to upload, and manage the entire list assets of their organization from one interface.
Typically used by the in-house Asset Management Team, or the Admin Team, this module allows the user to keep track of every single asset used within the organization.
A couple of common attributes per device could be:
